Who is on Angels Wings?
At On Angels’ Wings, we’re here for you through the tough times. We offer ongoing support and grief recovery services for families with medically fragile children or who have lost a child at birth. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. We start with free therapeutic photography to capture precious moments, and we’re with you every step of the way, providing mental health and wellness support for as long as you need. All of our services are always free of charge.
Why I’m involved:
I began volunteering as a photographer with On Angels’ Wings in 2021 in St. Louis, MO. What started as offering my photography services quickly grew into a deeper commitment to the mission. I now serve on the Board of Directors and as a Volunteer Area Coordinator for the Chicagoland region, where we are actively working to expand OAW’s presence and bring these services to families in Chicago.
Right now, I am focused on recruiting volunteers and raising funds to help build this program locally, but this work cannot be done alone. It takes a community of support, generosity, and shared purpose to make it possible.
